FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
TORONTO, ON (Sep. 3, 2013)—Female entrepreneurs face plenty of obstacles, but, according to a new study, the biggest roadblock they face may be self-created.
“Gone are the days where the ’New Girl On The Block’ feels intimidated, anxious and doubts herself,” says Pauleanna Reid, nationally published journalist, motivational speaker and mentor. “This guide delivers the tools and resources necessary to help every young woman who tends to be the obstacle in her own life when embarking on a new direction in her career or education.”
NGOTB is a daring career-focused mentorship program designed to teach women ages 25-32 how to confidently step out of their comfort zones, dazzle in their chosen industry and make power moves worthy of commanding recognition and praise.
“The purpose of the handbook is to act as a springboard that will propel the “new girl” beyond the fears and doubts that hold her back and kill her confidence,” adds Reid. “We’re re-defining the meaning of the new girl on the block from someone who is shy and timid to someone who is smooth, savvy and successful.”
Reid has a mission to provide the tools and resources necessary to help young women face and conquer their fears and challenges, by reconnecting them with their passion as well as their sense of ‘self’.
Through a whirlwind of inspirational lectures, round table discussions and media appearances (Rogers Television, MTV Canada, Global Television), she positively influences and challenges youth and young professionals to pursue their dreams and live a life they love. Having overcome her own personal and professional obstacles, her powerful story-telling encourages this generation not only to face their challenges but also to conquer them.
The handbook can be downloaded from this page.
