Toronto’s talented young chef showcases his Caribbean recipes during a 50-minute Instagram Live broadcast
The 50-minute broadcast hosted by curator Ryan Hinkson, not only highlighted Chef Adrian’s culinary skills to over 275,000 followers but also his goal to unite others through sharing recipes, while the world is continuing to follow COVID – 19 safety guidelines.
The cooking demonstration garnered 4,100 views and led viewers to comment on Chef Adrian’s enthusiasm and presentation of the finished products which included a jerk jackfruit sandwich, green fig slaw, and his signature “Hurricane Adrian” drink recipes.
These plant-based recipes featured products from Grace Foods Canada whose products have been a mainstay for over 30 years.
Prior to the broadcast, Hinson informed viewers of the purpose of the event, “We are going to be celebrating the future of food, not where food is going, but who is going to be taking it there”.
Since becoming a Junior Chef Champion at the age of 9, Adrian has been continuing to develop his skills and build connections within his community.
